Review
I've been a PES/Winning 11 enthusiast since 1998, and this is the best iteration by far. Although the network play mode is major novelty, expect to have a poor experience when playing an opponent on the network - just when you think your D cleared a ball in the goal area, the ball all of a sudden goes in the net.

Well I hav enot really struck up an intrest in any of the guitar hero games until this one. I was pondering on which rhythm game to get, this one or rock band. After extensive research, I have decided on GH3 andI picked it up last night and WOW!!!! I must say "Why did I wait so late"!!??? But the reason why I opted for this now is because there are so many games that focus on violence and nothing original, so it gets kind of boring. Take for example.. every one is talking about GT$. I bet it will be a great game and all , but I have owned all the Grand theft autos and never beat them because they got boring. I guess I am old school..(I have been playing games since 84 but I remember further back) Any way, games like GH# are a breath of fresh air in a world filled with violence. You will really love this game if you love classic rock, and or good rock ballads. Its awesome! I beat it on easy(go ahead and laugh, Im new to GH) so I am going to work my way up the ladder until I get to expert. But If you enjoy great rock and roll, you will love this game.(OBTW take a rest after a few songs, because your hands will cramp up!)

I just recently got a PS3 and my sons where telling me that this is a great game and we should get it for our console. It reminds me a lot of "Pitfall" in the sense that the main character goes thru the jungle, jumps, climbs, runs, etc. We have come along way from the pixel-ized version from those days. Uncharted: Drake's Fortune is a great game. It really looks great and the controls are easy to use. It is just a bit frustrating when you are at one check point, clear out about 50 plus bad guys (or is seems like a lot), die then have to start that scene all over again. The cool thing is that when you die, you respawn right away. I am almost suprised by the rating T for Teen. It has some parts that would fall directly into the M category of ratings. If you are looking for something that is a first person shooter with solving puzzles and other action in it, then get this game, it is really fun.

Review
This game could be the only game you ever need, if all you want is to have fun with your friends. I'm no hard core gamer, as the last system I had was a Super Nintendo, but this game combined with a PS3 is the most fun I've ever had playing video games. I had played Guitar Hero at a friend's place, and was impressed. The idea of adding drums was exciting, but I never thought that the singing would be any fun. I was wrong. All three "instruments" are great fun, especially when you add some friends to the mix. The songs, combined with the ones available for purchase, are great. The guitar reportedly works with Guitar Hero III, but the GH3 guitar doesn't work with Rock Band, so if you think you might want both games, then get Rock Band first, so then all you have to do is buy GH3 without a guitar, which is cheaper. I can't wait until sequels come out... I mean, nobody knows what the future holds... possibly an actual cowbell? A talk box? Keyboard? Technically, the game is right on, making good use of the 5.1 Dolby Digital and 1080p capabilities of the PS3. I wouldn't want to play it with lower resolution, as when you have a guitar, drums, bass, and singer, the video can get crowded.

Review - Online Gaming at ITS Finest

Without a doubt I would dub COD4 the best online shooter of all time. The lighning fast controls and responses are unmatched. The intensity and the feel to kill that which has killed you has never been greater...this game takes things to a personal level, meaning it influences you to WANT to continue playing until you are a killing machine and have mastered the art of COD4. The adrenaline is overflowing throughout most online matches and keeps your fingers moving up until the last second is up. This game is unique in the way that its control scheme and gameplay are so quick and realistic...somthing that is not ussually attributed to a shooting game. On the flipside, I will admit I am not too crazy about the single player campaign. The gameplay feels a little too scripted, and is actually quite difficult, even for intermediate players. THAT DOES NOT MEAN that single player sucks...I would give it a 3 out of 5, but about 99.9% of the time I am drawn into the MASSIVE online game so my review will remain a 5 out of 5. I must admit tho, I am dissapointed in the fact that they only released 4 new maps...they should release at least 10 or so more...this game honestly never gets old, and with new maps it feels like Im playing a BRAND NEW game...also I think itd be tight if they added a few more percs and weapons, but nevertheless this is hands down THE BEST ONLINE GAME I HAVE EVER PLAYED, PERIOD.

Metal Gear Solid 4 : Guns of the Patriots - Bestselling PS3 Games

In Metal Gear Solid 4, the player Solid Snake (Old Snake) must navigate the game world in order to progress, using stealth and cunning in addition to traditional combat. It will use the series' traditional third person view with full camera manipulation, but also allows the freedom to play in first-person mode, as well as an over the shoulder view which can be switched from right shoulder to left for easy corner maneuvering. The Close Quarters Combat system will be completely revamped. The player will also be able to interrogate guards for information and supplies.Several elements from previous titles return in modified forms. Players will also use a new form of camouflage called "Octocamo", which replaces the camouflage system featured in Metal Gear Solid 3. Dark blue when disabled, the Octocamo suit allows the wearer to blend in with any surface within a few seconds. A new monocular device called "Solid Eye" replaces the various binoculars and image intensifiers from previous titles, and a steel drum complements the series' traditional cardboard box disguise. It is able to deflect bullets, and can be rolled to knock enemy soldiers over. According to Ryan Payton, the game will be filled with cut-scenes that explain what happened in previous MGS games and how that relates to the events of MGS4. Players will be able to choose whether to view these scenes by pressing the circle button on their controller when prompted. Although informative enough to excite the hardcore fans of the series, the cut scenes will be straight forward enough for casual players. Players will have the choice of watching the cut scenes from predetermined camera angles or exploring them with the Metal Gear Mk. II.Snake will also be partnered with a robotic drone, the Metal Gear Mk. II, which allows him to communicate with other characters, in addition to the CODEC radio system from previous games. It is also capable of engaging enemies using an electric shock, as well as providing reconnaissance. This drone is reminiscent of Gillian Seed's robotic sidekick of the same name from another Hideo Kojima game Snatcher.Due to the lack of a rumble feature (an important part in previous titles) from the PlayStation 3 during much of the development, the game had been designed with a new feature: a white "Threat Ring," that visibly vibrates when sound is made nearby. As a series known for extensive use of rumble, when Sony announced the reintroduction of a new DualShock 3, MGS4 was announced as one of the first major games to make use of the force feedback capabilities.Kojima has stated that if the rumble was implemented, he may remove the Threat Ring.Snake's health will play some factor during gameplay. If injured on the battlefield, cuts and burns will remain on his skin. However, the developers wish to avoid putting the stress of Snake's health to the players, so he wears a muscle suit, allowing players to move in a similar fashion to previous games.Other changes that were announced included the new "Psyche Meter" which will replace the stamina meter from MGS3, and the "Baseline Map" which is a radar map with a dynamically resized circle based on Snake's "presence" to the environment.

Assassin's Creed - Bestselling PS3 Games

Assassin's Creed is a third-person stealth game in which the player assumes the role of Altaïr ibn La-Ahad (الطائر ابن لا أحد , Arabic, "The Flying One, Son of None"), a member of the Hashshashin (The Assassin Brotherhood) which is not allied with one of the sides during the third crusade. Altaïr's objective in the game is to slay nine historical figures propagating the Crusades in the year 1191. (According to Ubisoft developers, all of the main character's targets are historical figures who died or disappeared in 1191, although not necessarily by assassination.)
The primary goal of the game is to complete nine assassinations. To achieve this goal, the player must use stealth and a variety of intelligence gathering tactics to collect information on their target. These tactics include eavesdropping, forceful interrogation, pickpocketing, and completing tasks for Informers (other assassins who will give you information in exchange for assassinating targets or collecting flags). Additionally, the player may take part in any number of side missions, including climbing tall towers to map out the city and saving citizens that are being threatened or harassed by the city guards. There are also various side quests unrelated to the story such as hunting down and killing Templars and flag collecting.
The game takes place primarily in the Holy Land. It consists of four main cities: Jerusalem, Acre, Damascus and Masyaf, the assassins' stronghold; all but Masyaf contain three sections that are unlocked over the course of the game. An approximation of the land lying between these areas is present in the game as "The Kingdom." The game's developers claim the environments are all historically accurate. Each city features a highly detailed environment populated by many people of different types, and as the player interacts with his/her environment, the people around Altaïr respond in logical and predictable ways. For example, when Altaïr climbs buildings without the use of a ladder, the local citizens pause, gather round the building he is climbing and comment on his unusual behavior, or how they won't help him if he hurts himself. Certain actions, such as harming an innocent can attract the unwanted attention of nearby guards, who may then choose to attack him. Neither Richard the Lionheart's forces, nor Saladin's forces are particularly friendly towards Altaïr - If he comes into contact with any guards outside the main cities, he will be chased off, no matter which side.
The player is made aware of how noticeable Altaïr is to enemy guards as well as the current state of alert in the local area. To perform many of the assassinations and other tasks, the player must consider the use of both "low profile" and "high profile" commands. "Low profile" commands allow Altaïr to blend into nearby crowds, gently pass by other citizens, or other non-threatening tasks that can be used to hide and reduce the alertness level. "High profile" commands are more noticeable, and include running, scaling the sides of buildings to climb to higher vantage points, and attacking foes; performing these actions at certain times may raise the local area's awareness level. Once the area is at high alert, the player must use both low profile commands as well as aiming to climb away from ground level or using hiding spaces to reduce the alertness level. The player, as they complete the assigned assassinations, will gain either new weapons or new combat skills including counter-attacks and attack dodges. Besides his fists, Altaïr's weapons include an assassin's sword for standard combat, a short blade, and throwing knives which are used in conjunction with the short blade. Altaïr also starts the main storyline with the use of a hidden retractable blade on his left arm that can be used for killing targets at very close quarters without creating any immediate alerts (although, if others come across the body, the alertness level may be raised). This is the most noticeable difference between low and high profile. A low profile assassination can be performed within as little as a few feet of other guards or soldiers without attracting attention, whereas a high profile assassination attack will be noticed by everyone within eyesight. This becomes more difficult as the game progresses, as guards become more attentive for Altaïr's presence due to his repeated killings.

Grand Theft Auto IV - Bestselling PS3 Games

One of the bestselling ps3 games

Grand Theft Auto IV is structured similarly to previous games in the series. The core gameplay consists of elements of a third-person shooter and a driving game, affording the player a large, open environment in which to move around. On foot, the player's character is capable of walking, running, swimming, climbing and jumping, as well as utilising weapons and basic hand to hand combat. Players can steal and drive a variety of vehicles, including automobiles, boats, helicopters, and motorcycles.

The open, non-linear environment allows players to explore and choose how they wish to play the game. Although storyline missions are necessary to progress through the game and unlock certain parts of the map and content, they are not required, as players can complete them at their own leisure. When not taking on a storyline mission, players can free-roam. However, creating havoc can attract unwanted and potentially fatal attention from the authorities. The more chaos caused, the stronger the response: police patrols handle minor infractions such as attacking people, using a firearm in public, grand theft auto, homicide, etc. whereas helicopter support teams, the FBI, and an elite special forces team, N.O.O.S.E. (National Office of Security Enforcement) replacing the military seen in previous renditions of the series, respond to higher wanted levels.
While previous titles in the Grand Theft Auto series have traditionally been heavily mission-based, the freedom to explore and play outside of the set missions in GTA IV is now more relevant to progress through the game, according to comments by a Rockstarspokesperson: "We're really trying to blur the line between on-[mission] and off-mission. So storyline, and what you do outside [it], and how those two things influence each other."It is possible to have multiple active missions, due to the fact that some missions will run over the course of several days and will require the player to wait for further instructions, etc.The player can also partake in a variety of optional side missions, as well as make a variety of decisions over the fate of certain characters, with the player's choices affecting the game's plot.
